Iden Manor Nursing Home is in the most beautiful location. Situated in the heart of rural Kent, it is just outside the small, well-served
town of Staplehurst with its mainline station to London and plentiful supply of shops.

Iden Manor is a comprehensively equipped Private Nursing Home, registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and with a Good rating. Whilst most of our residents are with us permanently, some come to us for day care and others for short periods of
respite care and reablement following discharge from hospital, for example. We provide care for people living with complex health issues such as brain injuries and Huntingdon’s disease. This means we need to cater for a wide range of individual needs.

Wherever possible, we provide care within the Home without the unnecessary visits to acute hospital environments that can be so unsettling for the elderly and frail. We are well-supported in this endeavour through our skilled practitioners’ knowledge and training, together with on-hand support from our multidisciplinary team and regular access to the following specialists.

• A visiting General Practitioner
• Visiting specialist practitioners:
• Chiropodist
• Dentist
• Optician
• Other vision specialists
• Nurse Specialists within the community

Manager's quote

I have been a nurse for over 30 years, and in senior roles for over 20, in London hospitals, the university and hospice sector. Together with a dedicated team of experienced nurses and highly trained carers we always seek to provide the best possible care for the residents. We are ably supported by our dedicated housekeeping, kitchen and maintenance teams. We like to maintain a family feel to the home and live by our motto:
"We work in our residents home, they do not live in our place of work"
