Purpose built in 1972, Lord Harris Court is set in spacious grounds in leafy Sindlesham in Berkshire. We provide residential and nursing care for up to 76 residents.

We want you to feel right at home with us. Here at Lord Harris Court, you will have a spacious, fully furnished bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a specialist team to support your care needs.

Lord Harris Court can support up to 67 people in the residential area of our Home. We have 10 experienced carers in the morning and afternoon and five at night. All shifts are supervised by a Shift Leader.

Our nursing area can support up to 23 people and is managed by a Registered Nurse, who leads a team of seven care staff during the day and three at night.

Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care. A Clinical Lead Nurse is also available and oversees the safe and effective care delivered by our staff in the residential and nursing areas of the Home.

We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms and each person has a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance when they are around the Home or out and about.

We have two dedicated Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.
