From the manager

“I’m a qualified Registered General Nurse and I joined Care UK in 2015. I’d been working as an agency nurse prior to that but I felt it was time to find a permanent role and really settle into the adult care sector. I think as a home manager it’s important to know the residents and the colleagues in your team. They are central to delivering the best care, so ensuring they’re happy and content is all-important. The best part of any day is the opportunity to chat with my team and our wonderful residents and their families. It’s important we feel like one big family at Murrayside, so spending time together is key to that. This is a fantastic care home and I’m exciting about leading the team to even greater things. Away from my job I enjoy walking. I’m very into the Step Challenge and enjoy creating some healthy competition with colleagues, friends and family with that. I also enjoy socialising with friends and family whenever I can. ”
