A Warm Welcome to Gilmerton Care Home, Edinburgh

You’ll find Gilmerton Care Home has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, situated in Edinburgh. We are a short drive away from the city centre and nearby to public transport, making us easily accessible for visitors to pop-in for a chat.

Our Care team offers nursing care for people who have complex medical needs, and 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions. We also provide neurological care and rehabilitation where we support adults with complex physical disabilities or health needs caused by a range of neurological conditions.

We put the health and happiness of people living here at the heart of everything we do, we love to actively encourage them to take part in all decisions – contributing to everything from the way their rooms look to the therapies they receive.

Our home is only a mile away from Cameron Toll shopping centre, which makes for great days out for residents and their loved ones.
