Curant Care an independent domiciliary care agency supporting the East Sussex area. We understand that using an agency to support you can be a daunting prospect, as you may think that you wouldn’t have control over your care and support….. let us try and put you at ease regarding this.

Curant Care will work with you to create a bespoke service that suits your needs and how you would like to live your life. If you are someone that would like to go out and about, on holidays, and enjoy a fulfilled social life, we would support this and enable you to continue that lifestyle; on the other hand, if you are someone that likes to spend time at home enjoying hobbies, social media, and cooking up a storm in the kitchen… we again will enable you to continue such activities. We provide the support for you to live as independently as possible and ensure that you are in control of your life.

We are able to provide the following support:
• on an visit basis, whereby our staff could come into your home for a short period of time from 30 minutes upwards, 3 to 4 times a day (not limited to how many visits per day)
• 24/7 support which could be split between days and nights, this would involve care staff completing 12 hour shifts at a time
• live in care whereby a member of staff would live with you in your own home and be there to support you day and night
• Personal Care
• Respite Care

Unlike PA's and private carers, we have the added benefits of being fully insured, so if anything were to happen, you can be rest assured that we’ve got you covered. You would always be guaranteed a member of staff, even if someone is off last minute, our job is to make sure you have what you need, when you need it.

Our staff are fully trained and undergo intensive pre-employment checks, including pre-screening, interviews and enhanced DBS (background police) checks to ensure they are the right people for you. We obtain professional and character references, full 10 year work history, where we explore any gaps in this and the reasons for the gaps. We support our staff with continuous training and development, all staff will be expected to complete the Care Certificate within their 3 month probationary period. We will regularly ensure that staff are conducting themselves in the professional manner we expect, as well as making sure that they feel supported, through regular spot checks, supervisions and field observations. All our staff will undergo an induction which includes shadowing an experienced manager for as long as needed, and are not signed off to work independently unless they pass these intensive stages of our pre-employment program.
