George Hythe House is a purpose-built residential care home for older people, offering independence and privacy with support.
Every resident is respected as a unique and precious individual and the home welcomes applications from anyone who needs the services offered at George Hythe House. Care workers encourage a normal and personalised way of life, respecting a resident's dignity, privacy and independence while recognising the need to continue to make choices, accept risks and live their chosen lifestyle.
Each spacious bedroom has its own en-suite toilet and hand basin, many with a shower. Other bathing facilities are available for those that prefer a bath.
The staff at George Hythe House encourage residents to make their rooms their own by bringing in their favourite possessions to help it feel like home. Rooms have TV aerial points and WiFi is available throughout the building for people who like to keep in touch using modern technology.
Residents can enjoy a home-cooked menu each week and chefs work with residents to find out their favourite things to eat.
