Allambie House opened its doors in 1984 as a private retirement home.
Located in the center of Coventry, just a few minutes walk from the town center, Allambie house caters for up to 30 residents over a 3 story Victorian building which includes 26 spacious bedrooms, communal lounges, quiet areas as well as a hairdressing room. Close to shops, churches, parks. banks and GP surgeries, pharmacies etc and with excellent travel links Allambie House is perfectly situated for residents and visitors alike.
Our aim is to help older people live happier, healthier, more fulfilled lives and give peace of mind to their families who entrust us with their care.
Our Philosophy is simple - residents should feel safe and secure within our home whilst retaining their own identity and personality as much as possible through interaction within the home, the environment, the staff, other residents and the wider community.
Daily activities play an integral part in life at Allambie house and whether socialising as part of a group or exploring a new personal interest, our dedicated activities coordinator works closely with our residents to organise a range of opportunities.
