Digby Manor Residential Care Home located in Erdington, Birmingham caters for 26 residents across 24 bedrooms. It is a family run care home designed for people who like the intimacy and homely feel of a smaller care home. We are extremely proud of our reputation for exceptional care and we strive for excellence in all we do from the food we provide to the quality of furnishings. Our incredible team go over and beyond to anticipate our residents every need.
To move from home into any care environment is an extremely difficult decision to have to make. The reluctance to make the move, the uncertainty of what lies ahead and the fear of the unknown are all genuine and understandable concerns. Here at Digby Manor, the staff are acutely aware of the problems and anxieties moving into care can bring. They will support your transition sensitively with compassion and understanding. All our staff have the knowledge, experience and skills of dealing with the issues and concerns surrounding such a very important change, for which reason they will offer you constant support and guidance.
The staff and facilities at Digby Manor can cater for a range of needs and in addition to our residential care we can also offer respite and short stay care subject to availability. Our residents have a bespoke care plan that is personal and individual to them and have access to a full range of activities each week.
Life at Digby Manor is not just about receiving great care, but about enjoying the things in life that you have always enjoyed doing. We have a dedicated staff of carers, senior carers, catering staff and domestic staff who all have a passion for what they do and endeavour to make this care home the most amazing care home and experience for all those in it. The staff are at the heart of any care home and we believe that by only hiring the best we will continue to be one of the best Care Homes in Birmingham for many years to come.

From the manager

“Jane is a mother of 2, with a daughter and a son who are now grown up and have families of their own. Jane is a proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren, whom she adores. Jane started her career in a nursing home over 20 years ago and worked her way through her qualifications completing level 2, 3, 4 and leadership and management. Jane always wanted to care for people even as a child and always wanted to help the less fortunate. During Jane’s studies her tutor advised her to go to University to study ‘nursing’, however Jane had other ideas and really wanted to make a difference. As a child, Jane, was always around people with learning disabilities whom she would share holidays and social events. Jane felt this was the area that she wanted to pursue and to support people to make a difference. Jane worked her way up to become a Registered Manager. In August 2017, Jane was appointed the Care Home Manager of Digby Manor and has been part of a magical experience since. Jane feels very passionate about her role and making a difference through ‘Good Quality Care.’ And so the journey continues for Digby Manor to be ‘outstanding’ in all areas by the regulator, CQC.”
