We aim to provide a quality service to individuals by making them feel safe, secure and cared for by specially trained professional and dedicated team of carers.
We believe each and every one of our service users has the right to a life which allows them the opportunities to achieve their aspirations, develop new skills, and enjoy new experiences and to lead a happy and fulfilling life no matter what their abilities, disabilities strength or needs.
We uphold as our core mission the individual’s right to respect and dignity at all times and for them to be fully involved in their care provision.
We ensure that each and every service user is afforded the right to take risks and their values, choices and dignity are respected. Each service user is encouraged to be involved in planning their own care delivery and be actively involved in risk assessments.
Our vision is to meet the intrinsic needs, hopes and dreams of our Citizens by creating a care provision where they will receive the highest standard of quality care.

Our Aims and Objectives
It is the aim of Birmingham Business Associate Ltd to deliver a service to meet individual care needs and out service is designed to achieve the following objectives:
• To deliver a service of the highest quality that will improve and sustain the Citizens overall quality of life. In this respect Birmingham Business Associate Limited policies and procedures are aimed to meet and exceed the standards set in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activity Regulations) 2014.
• To ensure that the service is delivered flexibly, attentively and in a non-discriminatory fashion while respecting each Citizens right to independence, privacy, dignity, fulfilment, and the rights to make informed choices and to take risks.

• To ensure that each Citizens needs and values are respected in matters of religion, culture, race or ethnic origin, sexuality and sexual orientation, political affiliation, marital status, parenthood and disabilities or impairments.
• To manage and implement a programme of staff planning, selection, recruitment, training and personal development to enable Citizens care needs to be met.
• To safeguard Citizens and protect them from the risk of harm or abuse.
• To fully adhere to all local authority, regulatory and local guidance on safeguarding.
• To actively encourage each citizen to be actively involved in the planning of care delivery and to actively voice their opinion with regards to risk taking to ensure care is delivered in the way the Citizen wishes.
• To undertake appropriate risk assessments and provide detailed care plans to ensure people’s care needs are met and managed safely.
• To deliver a quality service to enrich people’s lives and support each service user to feel able to live a full life and feel confident when planning how they wish their care to be delivered.
• To support each Citizen to maintain independence so they always feel in control of their care.
• To monitor and manage complaints.
• To monitor the quality of care delivery and act promptly. This includes information gathered from complaints.
We have a proven track record of providing a service to a multi-cultural society. As a result we aim to offer home care support services in the client’s own language, with carers, wherever possible who share similar or the same beliefs. Our personnel speak a range of languages and we recruit from a range of cultures to ensure that we embrace a range of cultures.
Services
We offer a range of quality domiciliary services including:
Personal Care where we provide support, which is tailored to individual specific requirements and fully trained carers offer discreet and professional personal care in the way that’s most comfortable to the person. Our personal care support covers, but may not be limited to:
• Bathing, Washing and Dressing
• Continence support and support with clothing
• Emptying and cleaning commodes and emptying catheter bags
• Assistance with cleaning teeth
• Shaving
• Washing and drying hair
• Assistance to get up and go to bed
• Assistance with eating and preparing meals
• Encouragement and reminders to take medication
• Encouragement to take recommended exercise (after assessment)
• Escorting to appointments
Domestic support where we provide a range of domestic duties which support people to remain in their own homes including, but may not be limited to:
• Personal shopping
• Personal laundry
• Vacuum cleaning and dusting
• General tidying of rooms
• Checking on fridge contents and ensuring cleanliness
• Washing and drying up and putting away utensils etc.
• Cleaning of bathroom and WC areas
• Assistance with writing or reading correspondence.
Emergency Care:
• When sometimes events can happen so fast that families are left wondering how they will cope. Whether there’s been an accident, a sudden illness or people have been let down by their current care arrangements, we can provide help.
Night Care Support:
• Overnight care is when our trained carer stays in the home overnight to meet the normal activities of daily living. One-to-one nightly care from one of our fully trained carers means someone is there to assist with toilet breaks, administering medication or moving position in bed.
Respite Care and Sit in Services:
• It is available for vulnerable people or those that need extra support following an operation or illness, or while their regular carer takes a well-earned break from the demanding duties of being a full-time carer. This is a temporary arrangement offered by our trained carers where
The above lists are not exhaustive and will be subject to initial assessments to ensure we can carry out tasks to the satisfaction of the individual Citizen, and within the boundaries of relevant regulations.
We do not provide nursing care and therefore will not dress wounds, treat pressure sores, insert suppositories, fill medication dispensers, undertake stoma care, fit contact lenses or catheters. However, we work with our healthcare colleagues to ensure that people receive the care and support they need.

We can provide services to Citizens living in their own homes and in a community setting such as supported living or extra care services. We are registered with the CQC to provide personal care to the following:
• Adults aged 65 and over
• Adults aged 18 – 65
• Dementia
• Physical disabilities
• Mental Health
• Learning Difficulties
When we can provide the service:
• Our care visits include the following:
• Domiciliary visits ranging starts from 30 mins and upwards.
• Sit in services – to allow full time carers respite
• Night services – providing care during the night
• Twenty-four care services with a team of care staff.
