Situated close to the seafront and the breathtaking landscapes of South Downs National Park, Barford Court is a beautifully restored Art Deco style Home. We provide residential care and dementia support for up to 40 residents.

We want you to feel right at home with us. Here at Barford Court, you will have a spacious, fully furnished bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a specialist team to support your care needs.

Barford Court can support up to 40 people in the residential area of our Home; we have nine staff in the morning and nine in the afternoon. During the night, there are four carers who are supervised by two Shift Leaders.

In our Dementia Support House, we can care for up to 10 people with three carers on duty during the day and two carers at night.

Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care.

We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms and each person has a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance when they are around the Home or out and about.

We have a dedicated Activities Coordinator who organises a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.
