Set in nine acres of woodland, Shannon Court is a beautifully renovated Edwardian country home, situated in the picturesque village of Hindhead in Surrey. We provide residential care and dementia support for up to 53 residents.

We want you to feel right at home with us. Here at Shannon Court, you will have a spacious, fully furnished bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a specialist team to support your care needs.

Shannon Court can support up to 30 people in the residential area of our Home which is split across three areas, with up to 10 residents in each area. We have two experienced carers during the day on each floor, supported by a Shift Leader and one carer at night.

In our Dementia Support House, we can care for up to 23 people across two areas. One of the areas can support up to 10 people with three experienced carers during the day and two at night. The other area which supports people with more advanced dementia has four carers during the day supported by a Shift Leader and two carers at night.

Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care.

We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms.

We have two dedicated Activities Coordinator who organises a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.

From the manager

“We have 52 rooms in an old Edwardian House. Each of those rooms are unique with their own special views over the grounds of the Home and they all have en-suite facilities, which enables residents to be as independent as possible.”
