We offer personalised residential care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Our experienced team enjoys getting to know each resident, so that we can develop care plans that take into account each person's lifetime experiences, interests and abilities.

All the residents at Glastonbury Court Care Home have their own unique, personalised care plan. A care plan takes into account not only care needs but the resident's wishes. The care plan is continually monitored and updated to account for any changes to care needs or personal wishes.

We have a good range of local shops and facilities on our doorstep and our location on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds means we're also close to attractive countryside and farmland.

From the manager

“I joined Care UK in 2018 as a deputy manager at Prince George House, and am now pleased to be part of the team at Glastonbury Court in Bury St.Edmunds. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and a background in nursing. I’m passionate about great dementia care, as my father had Alzheimer’s and I cared for him for three years. I wanted to join Care UK because their vision and values appealed to me, I visited one of their homes to find out more and was very taken with the caring atmosphere. My background is nursing, I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and I’ve worked in hospitals and clinics in California. I joined Care UK in 2018, first as a deputy manager at Prince George House and am now pleased to be part of the team at Glastonbury Court in Bury St.Edmunds. I’m passionate about great dementia care. My father had Alzheimer’s and I cared for him for three years. The experience taught me so much about communicating with people living with this condition – knowledge that’s been very helpful in my work here. I love chatting to the residents and listening to their life stories. Hearing them laugh is the best medicine! There’s a fun, supportive atmosphere at Glastonbury Court and the team are passionate about positively impacting residents’ lives. We work well together.”
