Highfields Nursing Home provides care and accommodation to meet the needs for up to a maximum of 42 older persons who require nursing or non-nursing care. This includes Palliative care. Highfields also provide care for those suffering from Dementia. At Highfields we strive to help residents exercise the opportunity to select from a range of options in all aspects of their life, residents are offered a wide range of activities to choose from. Residents are encouraged to manage their own time and not be dictated to by set communal timetables.
The home strives to create an environment which assists in promoting a person-centred approach to meeting all individuals care needs. Residents are encouraged to take part in arranging their own care requirements based on individual needs, choice and preference.
Appropriate assistance and support in fulfilling each residents care needs is given in a manner which aims to ensure comfort and wellbeing. Our staff are educated in their importance, and implement these principals throughout their interactions with residents.
