Woodland View Care Home in Colchester has been specifically designed to provide high-quality elderly care, including residential and nursing care, as well as care and support for individuals living with dementia. The home has a dedicated area which we call our Memory Lane Community. It provides first-class care for people with dementia. Within our community, memory boxes with small reminders and items such as photographs are used to help each person reminisce. Features such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low-risk walkways and activity kitchens also enable people to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures.
