The dedicated team at Oat Hill Mews offer personalised residential and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis. The team get to know each resident, creating care and lifestyle plans tailored to their needs.
The purpose-built care home is thoughtfully designed to encourage independence, wellbeing and a sense of community. Residents can enjoy luxury facilities including a cafe, cinema room, bar and a hair and beauty salon. Outside there are wheelchair accessible landscaped gardens.
Oat Hill Mews is a centre of excellence for dementia care in the local community. The dementia care coach hosts regular support cafes and educational events at the home. Residents love the delicious, home cooked food prepared by the chef-led kitchen team.
Oat Hill Mews proudly holds accreditation as a ‘Veteran Friendly Framework’ care home, reflecting their commitment to outstanding care for members of the Armed Forces community.

I joined Care UK as I wanted to work with a company that shared my belief in providing excellent care for residents and share my passion of person-centred care. As a Home Manager, I believe I must be organised, calm, empathetic and patient to provide the best care to residents. By having these traits, it has helped me to build great relationships with residents which is often my favourite part of my job. I enjoy getting to know residents and learning about their hobbies and their interesting lives before joining us at Oat Hill Mews. One of my biggest achievements in my career is my BSc in Nursing that led me to working as a Nurse. I then moved on to home management within a few years as I loved watching staff develop and provide the residents with the best care.
