The home is primarily the old vicarage, we are situated in between St Thomas' Church and Openshaw Park on Rochdale Road. We have an activity co-ordinator who works four days a week to provide meaningful activities for our residents. We have a visitin…
The home is primarily the old vicarage, we are situated in between St Thomas' Church and Openshaw Park on Rochdale Road. We have an activity co-ordinator who works four days a week to provide meaningful activities for our residents. We have a visiting entertainer on a monthly basis and special occasions. Pre- pandemic we were enjoying trips out within the local community, which we are hoping to restart in the New Year. We are also part of an intergenerational linking project with a local school and a Church service is provided within the Home for who wish to attend.
All meals are prepared fresh on the premises and all tastes can be catered for. Laundry is also done in-house. We have a good working relationship with the local GP surgery (Minden) who our home is aligned to and also with the pharmacy that provides our medication. The District Nursing team provide support with any concerns we may have. We have a visiting chiropodist and hairdresser (chargeable).
The Home is rated Good in all areas by CQC.
We are following all guidance in place with regards to the pandemic. (Which currently requires anyone entering the building to wear a mask)
Our fees are as follows:
Private funding £1000 per week
LA funding accepted with a top up of £200 per week
