The Mill House is a purpose-built, luxurious care home, which continues to welcome new residents. Our home provides residential care and care for older people living with dementia. This is on both a permanent basis and for shorter respite stays.

Our home benefits from a number of sustainable features
The Mill House is located in the heart of Skipton and benefits from a canal side location. It has good road links, with links to nearby villages and it is close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The Mill Lodge at The Mill House provides eight care suites, which are suitable for couples or individuals. These provide a high standard of self-contained accommodation, with the comfort of care support from our main home to provide meals, laundry and care.

The Mill House provides high-quality care and luxurious facilities within a comfortable and relaxing environment. Our home is finished to the highest standard and has impressive facilities for residents to enjoy, such as a bar area, quiet lounges and impressive and safe balconies. The Mill House has private landscaped gardens with seating and raised flower beds. Our safe and secure balcony areas provide the opportunity to enjoy fresh air and the outdoors.

The Mill House provides care which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of residents and enhance their quality of life. This ensures each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. The Mill House prides itself on the standard of dementia care and provides ongoing training to care colleagues, to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.
