I feel being placed here will accelerate the decline of the patient. My Dad was here for a few months before having to be transferred to a hospital suffering from frailty and an infection. He died shortly afterwards. He lost a lot of weight here but the nurses did not see fit to put him on protein shakes. He was not safe from other aggressive patients and could not speak out at this point to defend himself. While I visited him two male patients tried to enter his room; one of them was verbally abusive. I dread to think what may have happened to him here. There are not enough staff to really manage the safety and care of the patients. It’s a sad place.

Firstly, there was a constant strong smell of cigarettes at the reception desk/on the ground floor which drifted to the next floor - absolute disgrace!
The staff lack basic care skills. I witnessed patients being brought out food and not eating any of it. Surely they should at least try to be encouraged to eat by the staff. Far too many concerns for this place. Avoid taking your relative here.

Disgusting care home all the manager does is sit in her office and smoke all day, her attitude to patients, family and even her own staff is rude uncaring and all she cares about is making money. Some of the staff generally do care but most of the nursing staff are under qualified to the point people's life's are at risk . The home is dirty and the patients clothes and personal belongings are always going missing /stolen so if you care about your relatives please don't let them go here
