Our friendly, experienced team provides residential, nursing and respite care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. We also offer supportive and sensitive end of life care.

We get to know each resident on a one-to-one basis, so that we can make their care programme as individual as they are. We offer residents a choice in everything that we do and we build strong relationships with each person, their family and their friends.

Every month we hold a relaxed meeting with residents and their relatives, to discuss how we can make improvements to day-to-day life at Darlington Court. It's a great opportunity for everyone to share their ideas and make suggestions about all aspects of the home, this could include, for example, dishes they'd love to see on the menu, new activities they'd enjoy, or outings that could be arranged.

We're incredibly proud of Darlington Court, the care we offer and the amazing community of colleagues and residents that make the home a wonderful place to both live and work. Why not pop in or call to arrange a show-around and see for yourself?

Manager's quote

We pride ourselves on providing tailored care for people with a range of needs – even those living with severe dementia. We get to know each new resident, from their physical needs through to their personality, what they like to do, where they used to live, their hobbies and interests. Then we set about creating care and lifestyle plans that are unique to them.
