Sandwood Care Home is a purpose built Care Home is located on the bustling high street in Sherwood, Nottingham.
We are located just 250 yards from a variety of shops, cafés, bars and good transport links.

The home boasts 31 fully ensuite bedrooms, 2 seperate lounge areas, a recently renovated dining area and a large Day Centre which is used for parties, shows, animal therapy visits and family gatherings at the home.

The home has its own garden complete with seating areas and garden games for residents to enjoy.

At Sandwood Care Home we recognise the importance of maintaining relationships with family and friends, which is why they can visit at anytime day or night. They can share a meal with you at the home and we encourage you to go out when you can whilst offering you every opportunity to pursue any hobbies and interests you have in or out of the home.

We offer a full and dedicated activity schedule which may include exercise sessions to suit all abilities, pamper sessions, bingo, singer shows, pet therapy, art classes and more for you to enjoy.

Our meals are all freshly prepared on site and should you wish for something off the menu, our fantastic kitchen team will always aim to deliver. In addition we have a tea trolley service offering hot and cold drinks with biscuits and snacks which is taken through the home 4 times each day.

For loved ones who come to visit, we can usually accommodate overnight stays if you wish. Please do check pricing and availability in advance.
