Winchcombe Place in Newbury is a modern care home offering high quality residential, nursing, short-term respite care and sensitive end of life care in a beautiful environment.

At Winchcombe Place, we believe that living in a care home should be just as good as living in your own home – or better. So, our devoted lifestyle team also pride themselves on organising fun activities, entertainment and outings for residents.

Our purpose-built care home has 80 spacious, en-suite bedrooms, each with a different colour scheme and outlook. Residents also love our beauty salon, coffee shop, cinema and library, with regular group and one-to-one activities, which can be enjoyed in our vintage-themed lounge, arts and crafts room and lovely secure gardens.

Manager's quote

Life in our care home is all about helping people to enjoy more independent and fulfilling lives. We want residents and their families to look upon our home as their own. We set high standards, clearly evident in the care we provide, making sure all residents get the most out of every day by having fun, staying safe, and keeping as healthy and active as possible. Life has certainly been different in 2020 but it’s still full of meaningful and memorable experiences and plenty of laughter.
