The Laurels Nursing Homes is delightfully situated just off the main road, just a short distance from the picturesque Old Town of Hastings and the seafront, with its unique fishing heritage and wide pebble beaches.
The Laurels is a well established and homely nursing home, offering the highest standard of care and comfort. The Laurels provide long or short stays, continuing or respite care.
Care at the Laurels is overseen by a registered manager and a clinical lead nurse who, together with all staff, is committed to ensuring that the privacy, independence and freedom of choice of residents are always observed. Staff value each and every individual who comes to live at The Laurels. All residents are assured they will be treated with respect and dignity, according to their individual needs and wishes.
The Laurels offers a mixture of bedrooms in comfortably furnished rooms, the majority with having en-suite facilities. To make the rooms as much like home as possible, residents are encouraged to bring personal items, such as pictures, ornaments and small pieces of furniture. There is also a double room available for couples.
The Laurels provides the little things that can be important to a good quality of life. A dedicated life-enrichment team arranges a wide range of activities. The Laurels also has an on-site hairdresser.
The Rochester wing provides additional facilities which include two large lounges with large widescreen TV, connected by an atrium, a quiet lounge, hairdressing salon and premium bedrooms, some of which give direct access to their own private garden or the communal/sensory gardens with shrubs and raised flower beds.
The Laurels welcomes potential residents and / or relatives to come and visit at any time to see the home and all that it can offer.
