Mallard Court provides 24-hour nursing care and personal support to older people, older people with disabilities, older people with sensory loss and older people living with dementia, offered expert support in a dedicated Memory Lane Community. We also offer respite care and short breaks.

Set in its own extensive, wheelchair accessible gardens, located just a mile away from Bridlington town centre and half a mile from beautiful blue flag beaches, the home is sited on a quiet residential estate and is easily accessible by road.

Care and support at Mallard Court is delivered through personalised care planning, a process that begins with assessment, carried out before admission where possible, and completed with the individual concerned, together with relatives. Information is built up on admission and at regular reviews. It covers areas like needs, risks, likes and dislikes, so it provides a basis for areas as diverse as deciding about activities programmes and external contacts, looking at any rehabilitative medical needs and discussions with our chef about diet (he will tailor meal choices to the individual). Regular reviews and updates with the individual, relatives, our team and any relevant health professional are an important element of the system.

We welcome visitors and we’d love to show you round.

Life at our home is composed of many key elements, not least of all, a dedicated team who strive to deliver high quality care, exciting activities and delicious food for the individuals we support. These services are enhanced by our excellent facilities, which serve to make residents’ time here as comfortable as possible.
