Kingston House is one of Wiltshire’s most established care homes. The leading non-profit care home in the area and purpose-built to deliver person-centred care, the home offers award-winning residential, respite, and dementia care in a welcoming, home-from-home environment.
As part of Greensleeves Care, a leading care charity that puts people before profit, Kingston House offers award-winning support and peace of mind through its Home for Life funding assurance, ensuring no resident will ever be asked to leave if their funds run out. Longer trial stays are also available to help new residents settle in comfortably.
Set in the peaceful village of Derry Hill, near Calne and Chippenham, Kingston House enjoys its own attractive gardens while being close to local amenities. Residents can take part in regular community outings from pub lunches and garden centre visits to trips to Bowood House.
Each spacious, fully furnished bedroom includes either a bathroom or wet room, and residents are encouraged to bring personal touches such as photos, ornaments, or small pieces of furniture to make their space truly their own. This personalisation not only enhances comfort but also supports familiarity and wellbeing.
Life at Kingston House is vibrant and engaging, with a full calendar of activities and social events both indoors and outdoors. Whether trying something new or continuing a favourite pastime, residents can stay as active and involved as they choose.
Mealtimes are a highlight, with our chefs preparing freshly cooked dishes that cater to every taste and dietary need. Resident and family feedback helps shape future menus, ensuring every dining experience feels personal and enjoyable.
For added comfort, Kingston House also offers an on-site hair and beauty salon, helping residents look and feel their best as part of a holistic approach to wellbeing.
From the manager
“At Greensleeves Care, we know families are making big decisions about their loved ones and we’re here to help you feel confident in those choices. One of the ways we give families peace of mind is through our Home for Life Commitment: a resident will never be asked to leave if personal funds run out. Because our focus, as a charity, is always on people, not pockets. We make the move into care flexible, with options such as a no-obligation trial, to experience life here before making a longer-term commitment. Our approach to care is rooted in warmth and understanding, delivered by a skilled and compassionate team who are here to support you and your loved one feel good about care, every step of the way. Give us a call today to talk through your needs or to arrange a visit, we’d be delighted to show you around. ”
