Longton Nursing and Residential Home is a purpose-built care home set in landscaped gardens providing 58 beds for frail and elderly people requiring nursing and residential care. At Longton Care Home we strive to provide an excellent standard of care delivered by staff that are qualified and trained to the highest degree within a safe homely environment. We encourage independent living for each resident so that they can enjoy as a full a life as possible.
Longton Care Home offers a range of social activities for each service user, e.g. games sessions, crafts, sing along, excursions, pub lunches etc. Longtons in-house Activities Co-ordinator is responsible for the organisation of these events. Residents and their families are asked to offer ideas and suggestions and residents are encouraged to maintain existing hobbies where possible.
