Glasson House is a six -bedded residential care home situated in a residential area in Cockfosters in the London Borough of Barnet. It is located within easy access to local shops, library, public transport and other amenities.
Mr. and Mrs. Mary Bourke are the proprietors of Glasson House and also own a sixteen-bedded ‘Supported Tenancy’ project within fifteen minutes walk from this care home in the London Borough of Enfield.
Glasson House opened in June 2000 and provides services for people with severe and enduring mental health problems. We adhere to the policy and recommendations as set out in The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Registration of Regulated Activities) Regulations 2009.

Glasson House is a spacious six bed roomed premises. It has one lounge, a one main bathroom with a separate W.C. Each bedroom is furnished with its own en-suite facility.
The home is spread out over three floors. It has a large kitchen and a separate dining room
An appropriately experienced manager leads the home supported by a Deputy Manager, and they are responsible for leading and supporting 2 other full time senior carer and a number other care staff.

We wish to provide that highest quality of care, and to do this we give priority to a number of areas relating to the operation of the home and the services we provide.

We strive to provide services at Glasson House that are service user led. We recognise how easily this focus can slip and we will remain vigilant to ensure that the facilities, resources, policies, activities and services of the home remain resident-led.
