Penuel Care Services Ltd is…

Penuel Care Services is based in the heart of Central Scotland and offers unique community-based social care services. We are an organised and responsive care services provider with a highly experienced management team.

Penuel Care Services Ltd is the inspiration of its Directors who together have over 45 years of experience in health and social care, and who have lived and enjoyed the benefits of the communities that they now serve. The directors have always been committed to having strong, inclusive and mutually supportive communities.

Their aim therefore, is to provide a person-centred care service that focuses on developing people’s resources and resilience so that they can be enabled to take a full part in the life of the community to which they belong. They are firmly committed to developing a ‘strengths-based’ approach to addressing people’s social and personal care needs in full collaboration with the individuals involved.

They will expect their staff to share these values and will appoint them on that understanding. They are committed to being fully inclusive in all aspects of service development.

The directors also view inclusiveness in terms of working in close partnership with other agencies and professionals involved in supporting the service users and to achieve common outcomes for them.

Penuel Care Services has set itself the following key objectives, which are by no means exhaustive.
• To enable the people who will use its services to achieve their personal goals despite their frailty, impairments, and/or disabilities.
• To enable people to regain or retain their independence following potentially disabling illnesses.
• To enable people to be full members of their communities in line with their needs and wishes.
• To support people using our service to exercise their human rights.
• To recruit staff who share and are committed to our values.
• To ensure staff are fully trained to meet the diversity of needs that we expect of the people who will use our service.
• To ensure that we work in inclusive, non-discriminatory ways that support the values, beliefs, and traditions of the people using the service.
• To support our staff to achieve all the benefits of workforce registration.
• To ensure that we always provide a reliable service that does not let people down.
• To work effectively in partnership with other agencies and professionals who might also be involved in the care and support of the people using our service.
• To ensure that people using our service are always kept safe from harm and the risk of harm.
• To ensure that we always achieve the national health and care standards set out in My Support, My Life.
• To ensure our staff are well looked after and well paid to ensure retention and continuity of care for the people we serve.

Penuel Care Services is dedicated to providing unparalleled care at home services, with competent and well-trained staff, with our service users at the centre of all we do. Please visit our services page for a more comprehensive list of services we provide.
