Campsie view needs to be closed down. Staff need to be sacked and there licence took away so that vulnerable adults are safe from them.

I think they should rename the place "Campsie View Couldn't-Care-Less Home".

My father is a current resident of this care facility and we are thouroughly disgusted with his care. He has been there for a week now and has not been bathed in several days nor have his clothes been changed. Today my mum found a dirty diaper down his pant leg that had been there for God knows how long. The clothes we packed for him, a week later, were still in the floor of his room, unpacked. My father was walking around with no socks or shoes on his feet and was absolutely freezing. His dirty bedding was found laying in the floor of his room at 4pm and had been there ALL day. Is it not bad enough that these people have already been in trouble for scalding a poor old women. Did that incident alone not shake them up? Apparently not. I have had other family members that have died in this facility. My uncle was left for more than a month with a broken hip, crying out in pain, and no one would listen to him or do anything for him. Finally he was taken to a hospital where he died from infection. I am overwhelmed with anger and disgust and the lack of care being provided to these elderly people unable to care for themselves. You might ask...why not just have your father moved to another facility...well, apparently it is not in our control to do so. What is in our control though is exposure and advocacy for our loved ones. It is against the law to treat people in this manner and justice will be served.
