Specially adapted lights and call systems enable our staff to immediately assist residents if needed, and help our residents feel safe at all times. The assistive technologies we utilise are designed to maximise independence and enable carers to create a climate of freedom, dignity, choice and above all safety. A range of design features help residents familiarise themselves with their new home as well as create a safe environment as they go about their day-to-day activities. Our spacious bedrooms are arranged along well lit, homely hallways that have been colour-coded and use signage that is both worded and pictorially illustrated, for easy recognition.

Oaklands is a new addition to our Hilton Park Care Centre community, which consists of three homes, Hilton Park, Eden View and Oaklands. Opened in October 2008 Oaklands is a purpose-built facility for people living with dementia and young people with physical challenges. The home is set in beautiful ground on the outskirts of Bottisham Village, where we are an integral part of a wider community. Oaklands Care Home has well-maintained and secure internal gardens so that people can enjoy the outdoors in safety. The home has hairdressing facilities, a café -style reception area, restaurant-style dining and lovely, relaxing communal areas. Oaklands offers a real community feel. We have three units within the home. Two are dedicated Memory Lane Communities for people living with dementia. The remaining unit is for younger people with disabilities. We have given all units street names to create a village feel: each bedroom door even has its own letter box and door knocker. Our experienced and highly qualified team delivers high quality care, giving people quality support that is in a league of its own, ensuring individuals remain in control of their lives. Working within the philosophy of person-centred care, the care team supports each individual in making their own decisions and choices regarding daily life and social activity. Set in extensive grounds it enjoys a quiet, country feel with well-maintained gardens, an abundance of wildlife and accessible wheelchair pathways to covered seating areas. One of our residents even has an area in the garden to take care of his chickens. Hilton Park offers nursing care and respite care in a variety of lounges and lovely communal areas, including a beautiful atrium-style dining room located at the very centre of the home. Our newer developments blend seamlessly with the original listed building. Our team of highly qualified and attentive staff are always focused on the individual needs of residents, with a tailored care plan for each person. The dedication of the whole staff team is reflected in the very high standards of care and in the pleasant, welcoming and hospitable environment. Those who have benefited from Hilton Park's advanced techniques and professional staff include many with Huntington's disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and dementia-related illnesses. In addition ,we have a dedicated 12-bed mental health unit run by experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses. We can also provide respite, intermediate and palliative care. Lily House is centrally situated in the city of Ely and can offer up to forty-four residents a wide range of elderly care needs, specialising in provision for people suffering from a form of dementia. Families of residents receive a friendly welcome when visiting and are often invited to join in with the home’s activities or mealtimes, especially when meals out at local restaurants are arranged making for an excellent social atmosphere
