Innovation for the NHS
Care Sourcer works directly with NHS trusts to reduce delayed discharge rates. We are currently requesting expressions of interest from NHS trusts for an SBRI-funded pilot.
Reducing delayed discharge rates
In a trial funded by the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI), Care Sourcer reduced delayed discharge rates by 40%
We have now been awarded Phase 2 funding from SBRI and are able to work with more NHS trusts. In these pilots, we aim to:
- Improve patient flow, resulting in a reduction in delays and excess bed days.
- Help trusts make better use of existing bed capacity by contributing to the SAFER flow bundle.
- Provide the NHS with visibility of care provider capacity so they can make faster, better-informed decisions about patient safety and discharge.
- Empower patients and their families to make an informed choice without delays.
