Mo Dhachaidh Care Home in Scotland is located in the beautiful rural North West Highlands in the fishing village of Ullapool. The village itself has a host of independent shops and restaurants offering local produce and places to eat. The home is nestled in the heart of the village and also provides premises for the local GP surgery and council office. In the summer months Ullapool is vibrant and residents at Mo Dhachaidh enjoy walks to the sea front, the local pipe-band playing, music events at the Macphail Centre and trips to nearby Ardmair. In the winter months, local school children visit the home where residents enjoy the variety of musical instruments and singing. Other visitors we have to the home include live musicians, Stella ( who is a trained therapy dog) and of course our much loved dog Treacle, who visits several times a week. Mo Dhachaidh offers high quality elderly care for up to 21 frail older people, including 24-hour nursing care, residential care and dementia. We are also able to offer short break and respite stays.
