The Chanters Care Home, in Atherton, has been purpose-built to provide specialist elderly and dementia care which includes a dementia strategy, as well as looking after residents with learning disabilities. The Chanters also offers respite care for short term stays ensuring residents are looked after in a warm and caring environment.
One-to-one sessions have proven to be effective amongst residents with dementia, protecting life skills and empowering those with sensitive needs in a safe and secure environment.
All bedrooms have en-suite facilities along with television and phone points. Whilst for entertainment purposes there is a thorough programme of activities along with planned monthly entertainment to help residents protect their personal tastes, together with their mental and physical health. There is an extensive garden for the enjoyment of residents and their families.
