Situated in the historic city of Cambridge, famous for its world-renowned university, punting on the River Cam, cycling and traditional English Heritage, Browns Field House is a dementia care home nestled in a quiet residential area offering tailored and personalised care to meet your individual needs, all delivered by a caring, dedicated and professional team of staff. For extra peace of mind we offer 24 hour care, have an alarm system and are able to provide care for people with conditions including dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke and mental health problems.
Browns Field House has 28 rooms, some of which are suitable for couples. Seven of the rooms have en-suite facilities and you will find walk-in showers or assisted baths on each corridor. The house has a very homely atmosphere and staff ensure that each resident feels at home, with friendship and support.
There are several areas of interest around the house including a telephone box, shop and sensory garden which is full of bright flowers and sensory items which are perfect for those residents living with dementia.

We’re proud to offer respite stays at Browns Field House a short-stay that can be planned ahead, or in the case of an emergency, last-minute. Suitable for individuals seeking support following post-operative or hospital care, or whilst their regular caregiver takes a break, respite care can also be used as a way of introducing long-term residential care to a loved one.
