Wellmeadow Lodge is an established and caring home in Newton Mearns, Glasgow. The quiet and leafy area provides a tranquil environment for those looking for a slower pace of life. Our experienced team provide 24-hour residential, nursing and respite care for older people. All care staff undertake regular training and are able to look after people with physical disabilities, dementia and sensitive end of life care.

We hold monthly resident meetings which family members are invited to come along to. This being said our Manager's door is always open for residents and their family members to discuss any concerns.

Here at Wellmeadow Lodge Care Home we offer a wide and varied daily activities programme which changes to make the most of England's seasons! Daily activities are planned for both morning and afternoon which take into account the interests of our residents. We also welcome community groups and schoolchildren into our home so residents can stay connected with their local community.

Please do get in touch to find out more about life at Wellmeadow Lodge and to organise coming to see us.

Manager's quote

Life in our care home is all about helping people to enjoy more independent and fulfilling lives. We want residents and their families to look upon our home as their own. We set high standards, clearly evident in the care we provide, making sure all residents get the most out of every day by having fun, staying safe, and keeping as healthy and active as possible. Life has certainly been different in 2020 but it’s still full of meaningful and memorable experiences and plenty of laughter. Visit our website to watch a short film on our visiting and moving in protocols and to read more about our Care UK Promise to you.
