You’ll find Carrickstone House Care Home situated in a pleasant residential area in Cumbernauld. We have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and are a short drive away from Glasgow. We are close to public transport, making us easily accessible for visitors to pop-in for a chat.

Our Care team is trained in caring for those living with dementia. We offer 24-hour nursing care for people with complex medical needs, as well as nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions.

In our home we have sensory gardens, which have found to be extremely beneficial to our residents. We also have a library, where residents love to spend time and indulge themselves in their favourite book.

My dad spent his last weeks in the Balloch wing of Carrickstone hospital and the the outstanding care and attention was amazing. All the staff from the doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and auxiliaries treated my dad as if he was their dad , and to me you can’t get any better than that !
