Situated along the outskirts of the historic city of Exeter, Cadogan Court is surrounded by landscaped gardens and stunning views over the city and the Cathedral. We provide residential care, nursing and residential dementia support for up to 70 residents.

Cadogan Court can support up to 48 people in the residential area of our Home and we have seven experienced carers, one Senior Carer and a Shift Leader during the day.

In our Dementia Support House, we can care for up to 11 people with three carers on duty supervised by a Shift Leader during the day.

Our nursing area can support up to 11 people and is managed by a Registered Nurse, who supervises two care staff during the day.

During the night, there are seven experienced carers, one Senior Carer, and a Registered Nurse who are supervised by a Shift Leader throughout each of the areas in our Home.

Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care. There is always a Registered Nurse on shift and our Home Manager is also a Registered Nurse who oversees the safe and effective care delivered by our staff.

We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms and some of our residents have a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance when they are around the Home or out and about.

We have two dedicated Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.

From the manager

“Our residents’ health and wellbeing is our top priority. We’re here to help people live well in later life.”

— Clare Walker
