Scarlet House is run by Care UK, and, as well as delivering residential and nursing care, the ultra-modern new care home provides short term respite care, specialist care for people living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, plus the very best in palliative care and end of life care.

Many of our residents with dementia particularly enjoy our reminisce sessions and our staff love getting to hear about the varied lives of each of our residents. Family members are also very much encouraged to come and join in with our dementia-friendly activities.

When your loved one joins us at our Stroud care home they will be able to continue to do all the things they've always done and enjoy a fun and comfortable lifestyle.

Everything in the home is focused on enabling them to get the most out of every day. The care home provides the ultimate in comfort and luxury, the food is delicious and nutritious, the activities are tailored to residents' interests, and our team is on hand to provide round-the-clock care.

To find out more about the care provided at Scarlet House Care Home then please get in touch. Our Home Manager or Administrator would be delighted to answer your queries and invite you to come and see us.

From the manager

“Having previously lead the team at Winchcombe Place I’m excited and feel privileged to lead a new team and ensure that everyone’s supported, working together and managing a team I’m proud of. I started my working career after studying a Pharmacology degree, which lead me to working in a community pharmacy and after hearing all the wonderful things about Care UK I wanted to try something new in my career, so I joined Care UK. Previously at Care UK I was Deputy Manager at Winchcombe Place and have taken part in the Future Home Manager Program to help me develop my skills and understanding of home to be a successful home manager. Within my role I believe you need to be knowledgeable on a wide range of key areas, responsible, approachable efficient and understanding which has helped me develop a successful team. Outside of work I love to dance and previously I’ve been featured on television in a dance competition.”
