The Manor Care Home in Taunton is situated in beautiful grounds on the edge of this pretty market town, which has a good mix of shops, a range of interesting events and strong transport links.

Our residential Care Home provides first class 24-hour nursing and residential care in a modern purpose-built home. We offer support to older people but also diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative services to a range of younger adults with complex care needs, including people with tracheostomies, some of whom may require mechanical ventilation due to spinal injury, people with brain injuries or other neurological conditions, people with sensory impairments and people with physical disabilities. Treatment is linked to carefully tailored care planning and regular review. We liaise with local health services to ensure that the best therapies are available to the people we support, and offer a wide and very popular range of activities. As with all Barchester homes, we pride ourselves on the high standards of our cooking, hospitality and housekeeping.

We offer an unusually complex range of services, a very high quality of nursing care and care planning and are genuinely committed to supporting families. We are always happy to help with advice, and welcome visitors. Please feel free to ring us or to call in personally for a look round.

Ensuring that we deliver high quality care to those we support isn’t our only priority here – we also want to offer excitement and, most importantly, to ensure that everyone feels at home. That is why we employ trained staff who are committed to delivering a stimulating activities programme and nutritious cuisine, which are supplemented by services and facilities that are designed to make life here as pleasant as possible.
