The Hillings is tucked away at the end of a tranquil cul-de-sac in a quiet residential area. The property is surrounded by an area of lawn and there are four courtyard gardens are stocked with colourful shrubs and plants that give year round interest, particularly to those that have a love of gardening.

This purpose built home consists of seven wings, namely Aster, Bramley, Clover, Daisy, Evergreen, Foxglove and Gardenia that are arranged around well stocked courtyard gardens. Accommodation is offered in bedrooms that are spacious and well furnished although residents are encouraged to bring items of their furniture and possessions with them, so that they can create a true home from home. Each wing at The Hillings has a large lounge/diner where residents meet to socialise and share meals. There is also a bright and warm conservatory, which is a popular place to chat with friends.

Residents are regularly assessed to ensure their needs are met. Appointments can be arranged with an optician, dentist, and chiropodist to visit. The home has an in-house hairdressing salon that provides all the usual services plus manicures and hand massages. Catering staff provide delicious snacks throughout the day and meals with special diets can of course be catered for.

Care staff are trained to the highest standards and chosen not only for their skills, but also for their warmth, friendliness and caring attitude. Staff are available constantly and provide professional care that respects the rights and dignity of the individual.

There is a purpose built Activity Centre where Residents can take part in as many or as few activities as they like.

Family and friends are always welcome at The Hillings and professionals value their involvement in resident’s care. Above all, they promote individual choice in a caring environment that is free from stress or worry.
