What care service best meets your outcomes?

A Care Seeker

Residential Care Homes - Help with personal care, such as washing, dressing, taking medication and going to the toilet. They may also offer social activities such as day trips or outings.

Nursing Homes - Personal care as well as assistance from qualified nurses.

Respite Care – Many of our residential homes offer respite care for older people who need extra support following an operation or illness, or while their regular carer takes a well-earned break.

A Care Seeker

Daily Care at Home Visits – Homecare comes in many forms and has many names used to describe it, including home help, care attendants and "carers" (not to be confused with unpaid family or friends who care for you).

Homecare can be the solution for you if you need:

  • personal care, such as help with washing or dressing
  • housekeeping or domestic work, such as hoovering, laundry and shopping
  • cooking or preparing meals
  • nursing and health care
  • companionship

Homecare can be very flexible, in order to meet your needs, and the same person or agencies may be able to provide some or all of these services.

Hospital to Home Visits – A hospital to home service enables you to return home after a stay in hospital whatever level of care you require. During your recovery we are able to provide a care team that can accommodate any of your requirements whether that be a registered nurse, health care assistant or care worker.

Overnight Care – Reassuring, professional overnight care can allow everyone to rest easy knowing that someone is there at a time when many older people can feel most vulnerable. Care providers are able to offer assistance with getting to and from bed and anything else that may be required through the night.

Live-In Care or Respite Care – Live-In or Respite care is designed to replace the care that you, as a carer, would normally be giving the person you care for. It may be needed so you can look after your own health and wellbeing, and to take a break from caring. This could be overnight, daily or weeklong.
